Our History
ShahPoor Muslim Jamat was established in 1950 by a group of dedicated community elders who recognized the need for an organized body to serve the Muslim families of Shamsabad, Rawalpindi. What began as a small gathering of neighbors has grown into a thriving institution serving over 2,500 active members and their families.
Over the past seven decades, we have built a mosque, established a welfare fund, launched education scholarships, and created a community hall — all through the generous contributions and voluntary service of our members. We continue to adapt to modern times while remaining rooted in Islamic values.
Milestones
Foundation
ShahPoor Muslim Jamat Shamsabad was founded to serve the growing Muslim community in Rawalpindi.
Mosque Established
The community mosque was built through collective donations and volunteer labor.
Welfare Fund
Formal welfare fund established to support families during hardship.
